Do y’all ever think about how beautiful it is that God doesn’t just look at us with contempt and begrudgingly forgive us? He understands our hearts and knows out thoughts before we even think them. He knows our wicked hearts but still weeps with us when they break. That is just so amazing to me. Jesus knows what we go through and knows how hard it is on us. That’s the beauty of His love. He died for us, rose again and even though that would have been enough, Jesus was tempted and tried in every way we are. That’s just…so awesome. My words will never do it justice but He understands us. He knows us. All of us. The God of the universe is making an effort to know you and understand you. He came to us guys. All other religions view it as a mountain to climb and all of us will get to the top eventually. Christianity is unique in the sense that we didn’t climb to the top. We had fallen to the bottom and our limbs were broken beyond repair. We were dead but Jesus came down and GOT us. THAT’S AMAZING! Sorry for the rant, I got hurt emotionally kinda today so I’m looking at God and seeing His love to me. It’s the best medicine there is.
